Our committed team provides exceptional care and support for your children.
Fledglings Nursery has a highly qualified manager, who has decades of experience, and has been managing Fledglings since it’s opening in 2005.
Assistant Manager Kate Ayres, SEN Level 3, and Deputy Manager Goisha Scott, Cache Diploma Level 3, are significantly experienced and qualified, and have been providing quality care at Fledglings for many years.
Our children at Fledglings are cared for by qualified Nursery Nurses, Supervisors, and Room Leaders. These are the only qualified professionals that we hire to care for the children. Each room with each group of children will always have a Room Leader and Supervisor with at least a Level 3 and extensive experience working in the industry. The additional Nursery Nurses all must hold NNEB and/or at least NVQ Level 2 qualifications in Early Years Education.
We continually promote and encourage personal development for every member of our staff, and we are passionate about supporting career progression for all of our staff.
We provide all mandatory training, as well as our own Fledglings specific mandatory training programmes to all members of staff:
- Paediatric First Aid (updated every 3 years)
- Safeguarding Children (updated every 3 years)
- SENCO (Special Educational Needs) training (regularly updated)
- Working with Babies training (required for all baby room staff)
In addition, the nursery has experienced support staff including trained Cooks, Domestic staff, as well as the support of the building and maintenance team at B&M Care’s Head Office.
