Fledglings Nursery cook prepares an extensive range of appetising home cooked meals, taking into account nutritional balances and any specific dietary requirements or individual preferences.  There is always a choice for children and refreshments and healthy snacks are available throughout the day.

Gardens and outdoor play:

Fledglings Nursery sits within the old stable block of the historic Ashlyns Hall. The children have the benefit of extended outdoor play areas as well as having access to the 13 acres of private parkland surrounding Ashlyns Hall.

Baby Unit:

Fledglings Nursery has a dedicated baby unit for children from 6 months to 2 years. Parents and carers have their own entrance with easy access to car park areas.

Dedicated Sleep Rooms:

Fledglings Nursery provides dedicated sleep rooms for children. children do not sleep in the same room in which they play and learn.

Outoor Learning:

Fledglings nursery has two large gardens, one aimed for the babies and the other for the Gosling and Cygnet children.  Each garden has plenty of age appropriate toys, climbing equipment, sand and water trays, bikes, push along toys and a mixure of safety surface and grass.

We also have a large, outdoor classroom where staff set up activities so all children can have access to learning and play year round, in all weathers.
